The Big E

The Gym Dandies have been invited by the State of Maine Parade Committee to be a featured performer for Maine Day (each state has a themed day throughout the fair). They will provide us with a coach-style bus for the trip to Springfield, Massachusetts, and tickets for the fair!  You will have the morning and part of the afternoon to enjoy the fourth-largest agricultural fair in the United States! We’ll have two opportunities to perform, putting on a show at the Maine building and performing in the parade.

Trip Schedule –

       6:15 AM Equipment room open

       7:00 Bus leaves (eat breakfast before and bring snacks)

     10:30 Arrive at Big E fairgrounds. Free time – enjoy the fair with your chaperones

       1:15 Set up for Performance at Maine Exhibit – Get gear from bus.

       2:30 Performance

       3:15 Clean up and reorganize (Put show equipment on bus and get parade gear.)

       4:15 Parade set up

       5:00 Parade

       5:45 Load up the bus and leave.

       6:30 Rest stop for dinner

     10:00 PM Arrive at Wentworth
